These fridges need an external power source. A portable battery or power station is a separate part of your camping setup.
12V / 24V DC
Use a compatible vehicle outlet and fridge lead. Secure the fridge before driving and keep its vents clear.
Australian mains power
Use the correct AC adaptor and Australian power lead to pre-cool before packing. Check the adaptor label for its input rating.
Plan a separate supply
A compatible auxiliary battery or power station can supply the fridge while parked. Solar requires a suitable regulated charging and battery system.
Will it drain my car battery?
Low-voltage protection can stop the fridge when the supply falls below its selected threshold. It does not guarantee your engine will start. Follow the manual’s protection settings and plan an appropriate supply for longer stops.
Rated wattage is not daily energy consumption. Runtime depends on temperature settings, ambient heat, loading, opening frequency and the usable battery capacity.

Start with your actual food containers, tallest bottles and available vehicle space. Larger litres do not automatically mean a fixed number of people or days. Compare measurements before choosing another capacity above.
